A 2027 book-style calendar with a vertical weekly layout and a cover featuring “SU 12” by Wojciech Fangor combines the functionality of an everyday organiser with a reproduction of a work by one of the most important Polish artists of the 20th century.

The vertical weekly layout provides dedicated space for each day, making it easy to plan meetings, tasks and commitments, including on an hourly basis. At the same time, the entire week remains visible on a single spread, making it easier to organise your schedule and get a quick overview of the days ahead.

Designed for everyday use, the calendar features a hard cover with a durable protective coating. Its binding allows it to open flat, making writing and planning more comfortable. The included linen pouch provides convenient and safe storage and transport.

The cover features a reproduction of SU 12 by Wojciech Fangor, a 1971 work in which the artist continued his exploration of the relationship between colour, form and perception. Its composition of geometric circles reflects his investigations into Positive Illusory Space and Reversed Symmetry. The calendar thus brings together everyday functionality and the presence of art in our surroundings.

Wojciech Fangor – “SU 12”

SU 12 was created in 1971 in Summit. According to the Catalogue Raisonné of FANGOR Foundation, it is an oil painting on canvas measuring 127 × 127 cm. The work is classified within Positive Illusory Space and Reversed Symmetry, and is documented in the Catalogue Raisonné under number P.858.

The composition of SU 12 reflects Fangor’s characteristic interest in the relationship between colour, form and perception. Its geometric circles and their relationships create an arrangement that affects the way pictorial space is perceived. Form is not merely a compositional element here – it also influences how the viewer experiences the surface of the painting.

The work belongs to a period in which Fangor developed his abstract investigations into illusory space. SU 12 exemplifies his sustained exploration of how the interplay of colour and form can create a sense of space and influence the viewer’s perception.
