About Natalia LL (Natalia Lach-Lachowicz, 1937–2022):
A trailblazer of Polish avant-garde, Natalia LL worked with photography, video, and her own body to create bold, personal, and taboo-breaking art. She co-founded the legendary PERMAFO gallery in Wrocław (1970–1981), gaining international recognition. As a feminist art pioneer, she participated in major global exhibitions. Her achievements include the Katarzyna Kobro Prize, the Gloria Artis medal, and an honorary doctorate from the Wrocław Academy of Fine Arts (2022).
